| Radio controlled cars, or RC cars as they are commonly named, are a fun way of spending time both for children and adult people. Their action is based on the remote control system. Another kind of remote control cars is wire connection trucks, but radio-controlled cars are much more popular. Radio controlled cars are generally divided into 2 groups: toy version cars designated for children and hobby-grade version that is designated for adolescents and adults. These 2 variants of radio controlled trucks are different, but still have something in common. They both constitute copies of real life cars and are controlled via radio control. But there are some distinctive features of these 2 variants. First of all, a toy model is a solid plastic representation of the car while the hobby-grade model is very close to a real vehicle in relation to looks and individual parts. The hobby-grade RC cars are constructed in the same manner as a real-life vehicle. Moreover, this model requires the same service and maintenance as if you were the owner of a real life truck. There are different methods of powering hobby-grade RC trucks. They can be electrically, fuel or nitro powered. Taking a decision which one to choose is not that easy. All the models have their pluses and minuses that should be carefully thought over. For example, an electrically powered radio controlled truck will be lighter that a petrol run one, but the last will be faster than the first one. Anyway, these trucks are so intricate, that every enthusiast will be able to transform his electric truck into a petrol one, or vice versa, with no particular efforts. What is so particular about hobby-grade radio-controlled trucks that draws attention of numerous men of all ages to them? Basically, it's their complexity. It isn't a toy, it's actually a real vehicle, but very small. Moreover, these radio-controlled trucks can be applied for racing and what man would refuse to be a racer? It is much funnier than computer games, that is the reason why RC trucks are so attractive to adults. Evidently, RC cars are a lot of fun. But still keep in mind that it will demand a lot of maintenance, repair and upgrading. So this hobby is not cheap, but it is a truly unforgettable experience. |
